Having worked in a corporate environment in the fields of Banking-Marketing-Management-Finance-Events, and armed with diplomas in accounting, business management, computer programming and lots of enthusiasm, Eugene ditched his corporate career to follow his dream and applied his skills to the entertainment- hospitality-tourism industries.

A hands-on music promoter, cultural activist, entrepreneur, bit part actor, and DJ, he is also a skilled theatre technician. He worked at most theatres in South Africa, did touring shows, and spent short stints at theatres in the UK. Eugene studied sound engineering and music production through Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA .

Eugene represented Durbanville Arts, Culture, Heritage & Tourism on Ward Committee level. He was also one of the founder members of Cape Town North (tourism) and is currently a panel member of Wesgro Tourism Reference Panel, and several Business Networks and Chambers, chairman of the Durbanville Tourism and Accommodation Network, Durbanville Folk Club, and Festival manager of the Durbanville En Route Festival. He is also busy with studies in Hotel Management.
Established 31 Aug 2003, Villa Pascal was the realization of a long time dream by Daniele and Eugene. We wanted to recreate an upmarket, yet intimate and homely, multipurpose venue in Durbanville suitable for accommodation, conferences, events, entertainment, weddings, functions and a recording studio, similar to what we had in Oranjezicht Cape Town. Our home was then transformed to create this reality.

The fully equipped theatre and function room also known as The Cape's only Theatre in a House, is an entertainment landmark in the Western Cape and a preferred venue for small and medium functions. "There is a growing demand for quality entertainment in Durbanville, and by offering various genres of entertainment,we aim to create a new generation of theater goer.

We are very dedicated in promoting local talent. Through Crazee Records, my own record label, we created Open Mic sessions and Pre-Show opportunities for emerging entertainers, created a folk music club, conduct workshops and skills transfers that will assist in creating sustainable employment " says Eugene. Both Daniele and Eugene received numerous community awards for outstanding service and contribution to the Arts.
